My first try at art journaling

A few weeks ago I made a tentative at making an art journal page. I've been wanting to make an art journal for quite a while now, but I keep procrastinating on it for a very stupid reason... I have a hard time dealing with the fact that the result won't look like the perfect plan in my head. That it might come out messy, fucked up and might still look ok but not exactly what I had in mind. It's like some kind of OCD with being really one. Anyway, enough ranting, here's the result.

I see a million things in that page that could have turned better or that slightly annoys me, but overall I like the result even if it feels a bit incomplete.

The most important part is that I had fun playing around with my supplies to make this page, and I definitely want to make more. I signed up for a class at Entreartistes taught by Pretty Arty. It's half way through and so far I like it a lot, but since we haven't produced anything "complete" yet, I'll probably share here later if I like the final result.

Until then, have a nice week end everyone :)

    1. Thanks a lot for your nice comment :)

I don't really like my own handwriting and I always think the same when I see other people's lettering. I guess is just a matter of practicing again and again
